Compare all properties and their rates1. Choose accommodation for your group
A studio may suit one person, a couple or a small group, depending on its capacity. For a family, compare apartments by bedroom count and permitted guest count. Maximum capacity alone does not describe the beds: confirm the bed arrangement if it matters for your stay.
In our catalogue of furnished accommodation in Medina, each listing shows photos, capacity and availability. Before choosing, also check the floor, whether there is a lift if you need one, and the facilities actually present in that property.

2. Understand the route to the Prophet’s Mosque
Walking times are estimates: they depend on the property, your pace and the entrance used. With children, a pushchair or someone who finds walking difficult, ask for precise guidance. The walking-route and neighbourhood videos on our homepage show the surroundings; they do not necessarily show the route from every apartment.
For the one-month Arabic course, confirm the allocated accommodation and the route to the Prophet’s Mosque for your session.
3. Prepare a complete budget
For accommodation-only rentals, stays are available from 22 nights, with a minimum charge of one month. A stay of 22 nights or more that is shorter than one month is charged at the monthly rate applicable on your arrival date. Higher-rate periods, including Ramadan, and optional extras may change the total. Compare entire properties suitable for your group, then check the summary before payment.
Extras, including Wi-Fi where offered, are optional. Select your dates and extras to see their cost in the summary before payment.
Budget separately for flights, travel formalities, meals and personal transport. For entry requirements and necessary procedures, consult the official services relevant to your situation before purchasing your trip.
4. Choose between a rental, a stay with Umrah and Arabic classes
Renting an entire property and booking an organised stay meet different needs. A rental is priced for the property; the two one-month stays are priced per person. Choose according to your group, budget and whether you want to study Arabic.
Monthly apartment and studio rentals
Want to organise your own programme? Compare our furnished apartments and studios in Medina. The rate covers the entire property, up to its maximum capacity. Arabic classes and Umrah are not included in accommodation-only rentals. For a family, check the bedrooms, sleeping arrangements and route to the Prophet’s Mosque.
One month in Medina with Umrah, without Arabic classes
The one-month stay with accommodation and Umrah, without Arabic classes includes shared accommodation with a maximum of two people per bedroom, horse riding and Umrah. Return transport between Medina and Makkah, a guide and two nights in Makkah are included. The T4 is used first; apartment No. 2 may be offered depending on availability.
One-month language stay: Arabic, accommodation and Umrah
The Arabic language stay in Medina with Medinatouna combines accommodation, three hours of Arabic classes a day, five days a week, and Umrah with return transport, a guide and two nights in Makkah. The standard option includes horse riding. For families, a guided visit of Medina replaces horse riding.
For both options, the two nights in Makkah are part of the total stay duration. Flights, visa and meals are excluded. Check the exact dates and the summary for your selected session before paying online.

Learn Arabic in Medina as a family
The family option with Arabic classes includes private accommodation. Adults and children aged 7 and over pay the standard rate; children under 7 receive a 50% discount. Women must be accompanied by a mahram. The summary takes guests and their ages into account before payment; the team arranges accommodation suited to your group.
Medinatouna welcomes complete beginners and advanced learners. A placement test on arrival determines the group. The programme includes two hours of learning and one hour of speaking and vocabulary a day; the institute assigns class times. Men and women study separately.
Classes are open to children aged 6 and over. This admission age is separate from the child pricing rule: a 6-year-old still receives the 50% discount. For younger children, confirm childcare options, places and conditions with the institute. Read Medinatouna’s FAQ.
